Match Slide is developed and published by Little Guy Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data directly. Match Slide does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information. The app is free and supported by third-party advertising; our advertising partners may collect certain device and usage information to serve and measure ads, as described in the Advertising section below.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following data locally on your device to provide core functionality:
- Game statistics — games played, win rate, best time, move counts
- Streak data — current and best daily puzzle streaks
- Preferences — sound and haptic settings
- Progress — practice level, XP, player level
This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults. It never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
3. Third-Party Services
Match Slide integrates Google AdMob to display advertising. Other than our advertising partners (see the Advertising section below), the app does not integrate analytics services or social media platforms. Your game progress, statistics, and preferences are stored only on your device.
4. Advertising
Match Slide is free and ad-supported. We use third-party advertising networks — currently Google AdMob — to display ads within the app. To serve and measure these ads, our advertising partners may collect:
- Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA)
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Usage and device data, such as ad interactions, device type, and operating system version
Where iOS requires it, the app asks for your permission before engaging in tracking that uses the advertising identifier (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). You can change this choice, or limit ad tracking generally, at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can also remove ads entirely by purchasing the in-app Remove Ads subscription. For details on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Children's Privacy
Match Slide is suitable for all ages, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app displays advertising, our advertising partners may collect device and usage data as described above. If you would prefer to avoid ad-related data collection, you can remove ads via the Remove Ads subscription or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not collect personal data directly. The device and usage information collected for advertising is shared with our advertising partners (such as Google) solely to serve and measure ads, as described in the Advertising section and governed by their respective privacy policies.
7. Your Data Export
You can export all locally stored game data at any time from Settings > About > Download My Data. The data is provided as a JSON file that you can save, share, or delete.
8. Data Deletion
All app data stored by Match Slide is held locally on your device. To delete it, simply delete the app. Data collected by our advertising partners is governed by their privacy policies; you can limit it through the device settings described in the Advertising section.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
